Staff Profiles
The practice has grown over the last five years and our staff members currently consist of five building surveyors, one architectural technician and four administrative staff. Brief profiles of some of our staff members are shown below:
Stuart Radley MA MRICS
Chartered Building Surveyor
Stuart is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, having qualified in 1988. He is currently a member of the Building Surveying Faculty of the RICS. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Cambridge.
Stuart has worked in both the public and private sector and has over 20 years' surveying experience. He has over 10 years' experience of acting as an expert witness in legal disputes and has worked on a wide range of projects both in the commercial and residential sectors. He is a member of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club and has considerable experience in party wall disputes.
Stuart has been the proprietor of Stuart Radley Associates since 1999.
Stephen Hoadley BSc (Hons) MRICS
Chartered Building Surveyor
Steve graduated from Brighton University in 1997 with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2000. He joined the practice in November 2004 and has over 10 years' surveying experience. Steve undertakes a range of work, including Building Surveys, Homebuyer Reports, dilapidations claims and contract administration.
Stephen Pook BSc (Hons) MBEng MRICS
Chartered Building Surveyor
Steve graduated from Brighton University in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying. He has over 10 years' surveying experience since graduation and extensive experience in the construction industry. He is a member of the Association of Building Engineers and Vice Chairman of the Sussex branch of the Pyramus and Thisbe Club. Steve joined the practice in April 2001 and deals with various aspects of our building surveying activities.
Chris Monaghan
Building Surveyor
Chris has attained an OND in Building Studies, an HND in Business Studies and a P402 Proficiency Certificate in Building Surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos. He is currently studying for a Diploma in Surveying Practice in order to obtain the TechRICS qualification and has over 5 years' surveying experience. Chris joined the practice in May 2007 and deals with various aspects of our building surveying activities.
Matthew Denman
Building Surveyor
Matt graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and the Environment and has over 2 years' post graduate surveying experience. He joined the practice in December 2007 and deals with various aspects of our building surveying activities.
Morag Hoppe ND Arch
Architectural Technician
Morag is a qualified Architectural Technician from South Africa, having obtained a National Diploma in 1984 from Witwatersrand Technikon, Johannesburg. She has over 20 years' architectural experience and joined the practice in March 2006. Morag deals with the architectural side of the practice, producing drawings using AutoCAD and preparing Planning and Building Regulations applications.
Hannah Cook BA (Hons)
Practice Administrator
Hannah graduated from the University of York in 1998 with a BA (Hons) in Linguistics. She joined the practice in May 2001 and is currently responsible for all aspects of administration and office management.
